Join Chief Astronomer Derrick Pitts for a free community-wide viewing party as the moon takes center stage to cast its shadow on the Earth! Safely observe the solar eclipse under our large solar filter tents, or through our specially equipped telescopes—or even your own eclipse glasses. Whether a seasoned stargazer or a first-time eclipse viewer, be prepared for an afternoon celestial celebration!
The event is free and open to the public. Museum admission not included.

Solar Viewing Stations: Safely observe the solar eclipse through large solar filter tents or specially equipped telescopes provided by our team of amateur astronomers.
Beer Garden: Enjoy an eclipse-related menu of food and drinks available for purchase, catered by Seravezza Events.
Entertainment: DJ Ben Arsenal sets the mood for this celebratory gathering with a custom designed soundtrack.
Federal Donuts & Chicken: First 200 guests will receive an exclusive TFI Solar Eclipse donut, in partnership with Federal Donuts & Chicken, to celebrate TFI's 200th Anniversary.
