STEM Scholars
STEM Scholars is an immersive, four-year program for Philadelphia area 9-12th graders who are passionate about science, technology, engineering, and math. Through college preparation, SAT/ACT tutoring, mentorships, paid internships and research experiences, and career and technical education, this program enhances subject knowledge and problem-solving skills, is helping to build the next STEM workforce.
PACTS
A year-round program of science enrichment, career development, cross-age mentoring, and leadership opportunities for middle-school students in Greater Philadelphia.
Programs for Educators
The Franklin Institute offers online resources specifically for teachers, professional development, Educator Nights at the museum, a Master Educator course, and much more.
Field Trips
Through its Access Program, The Franklin Institute welcomes more than 150,000 students, teachers, and chaperones on field trips every year. These trips are deeply subsidized, with groups from Title 1 Schools visiting for free. Your philanthropic support helps make this possible.
