The Franklin Institute is open daily from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm.
Closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, December 24, and December 25.
Universal Theme Parks: The Exhibition Additional Evening Hours: Thursdays - Saturdays, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm (last entry ticket at 6:30 pm).

Know Before Arriving
- Skip the lines: Buy tickets in advance and guarantee your preferred times!
- Be a member: Members do not pay services fees! Book online or call 215-448-1200 to get tickets at your convenience.
- Increased Group Visits on Weekdays: Please note that there is a higher volume of group visits on weekdays before 2:00 PM. For a more relaxed experience, we recommend planning your visit after 2:00 PM on weekdays.
- Strollers: Strollers are welcome in the museum. However, large toddler carriers, double-sided strollers, and jogging strollers are not recommended in special exhibition galleries due to space constraints.
- Lost & Found items are held for up to 24 hours in a museum's guest services office before moving to our central lost and found office, which can be reached at 215-448-1200.
