Fright @ Night returns by popular demand! This Halloween-inspired evening event for adults 21+ may seem glitchy, but we promise a great time. So, prepare for a slew of surprises because you never know what might slip through.
As always, costumes are encouraged, and we suggest embracing the glitch. Consider AI-generated mishaps that slightly eschew the norm. Remember, full-face coverings and real or fake weapons are prohibited.
Tickets Include:
- Evening access to all core exhibits and galleries.
- Limited Edition lapel pin created exclusively for the event.
- Roof deck access offering spectacular city views and facilitated stargazing (weather permitting).
- Food and drink by Seravezza Events are available for purchase at bar stations across the museum.
Featured Programming
- Entertainment curated by Onyx Ondyx, and the hottest clown around town, Mackenzie Moltov, featuring La Reine The Thrill and Aquarius Moon.
- Somewhere at the intersections of futuristic pop and techno, the one and only GINA will provide the music for the dance floor in the Fels Planetarium.
- Live full dome visuals with modified analog gear with Liquid Light Lab in the Fels Planetarium.
- Interactive glitch installation and video art performance with artist Grant Bouvier.
- Get experimental with Modular on The Spot, as Jerry Kaba, Sean Powell, and MANNA show you the building blocks of modular synthesis and sound composition with hands-on demos and performances.
- Activity stations to trick and treat your senses with the Monell Chemical Senses Center.
- Go back in time with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM)’s School of Health Sciences and explore the history of classic monsters in cinema and the health “glitches” that inspired their creations.
- Stop by the drive-in, aka Franklin Theater, for old reel-to-reel films from the spooky to the eerie with Secret Cinema.
- Sing your favorite songs with the Karaoke Gung Show hosted by Skeletor, but beware, he may gong you before you get through. Do you have the power?
