Slobodan Cuk received a Dipl.Ing. from Belgrade University in 1970, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Santa Clara in 1974; and a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology in 1977. Dr. Cuk began his professorial career at Caltech in 1977.
While at the Caltech, Dr. Cuk developed the CUKonverter, now manufactured under license as the primary product of his private company, TESLAco. TESLAco, named for Nikola Tesla, specializes in the custom design of high efficiency and high power density switched-mode power supplies for commercial and military applications.
Dr. Cuk conducts courses in Power Electronics within TESLAco.
