Peter J. Twin held the position of Sir James Chadwick Professor of Experimental Physics from 1987-96 and Lyon Jones Professor of Physics from 1997-2001 at the University of Liverpool.
In addition to the Franklin Institute award, Dr. Twin also won the Tom W. Bonner Prize in Nuclear Physics from the American Physical Society in 1991.
