Celebrate Pixar's Elio and Space!
Saturday, June 14, 2025 | 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Prepare for liftoff! In celebration of Disney and Pixar’s upcoming film Elio (in theaters June 20), come join us for a day of hands-on, imagination-fueled fun for space explorers of all ages to enjoy.
Just like Elio—a curious kid who accidentally becomes Earth’s ambassador to outer space—you’ll journey through the cosmos on your own adventure throughout our two-story Wondrous Space exhibit and space-themed programming.
From building slime that glows in the dark to designing your own Communiverse cape, every activity is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection—just like Elio’s intergalactic mission. Including, a special trailer viewing for Elio before each Planetarium show!
Don't miss our special live science show that day - Build-A-Space-Suit, a home-made approach on what it takes to make that first leap into space.
The film will not be shown at The Franklin Institute.
