Our Science Intepreter, Fox, has a pretty cool way of making music using electricity in this episode of #SparkofScience.
You will find out that sound comes from the vibration of air molecules. A Tesla Coil produces sound by switching on and off a certain number of times per second, causing air molecules around it to heat up and vibrate. Music can be played with a Tesla Coil by changing the frequency: more sound waves per second produce a higher pitch, while fewer sound waves per second produce a lower pitch.
