Support The Institute’s Ongoing Mission

In the spirit of inquiry and discovery embodied by Benjamin Franklin, the mission of The Franklin Institute is to inspire a passion for learning about science and technology.

As a leading hands-on science and technology center and trusted source for STEM education, the Institute pioneers ways to make science and technology accessible to all and achieves its mission through its core exhibits, live science shows and dissections, free and deeply discounted admission through our Access Program, professional development, lecture series, DEAI initiatives, digital resources, and youth programs.

Support the Scientists, Engineers, and Technologists of Tomorrow

Since 1993, The Franklin Institute’s Youth Education Programs have helped expand the educational prospects of our region’s youth by deepening their curiosity about and understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Through Partnerships for Achieving Careers in Technology and Science (PACTS) and STEM Scholars, the Institute strives to make STEM learning more accessible and equitable for middle and high school students from communities historically excluded from STEM fields.
