The Wright Flight Festival is a celebration of the Wright Brothers that promotes awareness of the Wright Again project, the Wright Brothers Aeronautical Engineering Collection, the 2003 Centennial of Flight, and the newly renovated Franklin Air Show exhibit at The Franklin Institute.

Celebrate the Centennial of Flight at The Franklin Institute!

  • Explore the Franklin Air Show exhibit, a simulated environment of an actual air show that will introduce you to the history, majesty, science, and technology of powered flight.

  • Get a good look at the refurbished 1911 Wright Model B Flyer and learn more about it and other Wright Brothers artifacts that are on display in the exhibit.

  • View scenes from the Centennial of Flight Celebration in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

  • Take part in aviation make and take activities. Make your own Magnus Flyer!

Festival is free with general Sci-Pass admission.
