| When Lance was thirteen years old he became a junior triathlon
athlete. A triathlon is an event that combines swimming, biking and running. At
age fifteen he entered triathlons to win money. He won so many races that he made $20,000
in one year. That's pretty amazing when only five years before he was in a swim class with
second graders! |
