Science After Hours returns to kick off Philadelphia Pride Weekend and Pride Month with a celebration that screams “Be You!” Produced in partnership with GALAEI, Summer Ball celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and welcomes all to an evening of drag, dancing, and science. From the illuminated runway to the disco ball, culminating with a midnight balloon drop, we are kicking off the month with a blast! 

Experience the excitement of classic live science demonstrations from The Franklin Institute, celebrating its 200th Anniversary in conjunction with the 250th Anniversary of Carpenters' Hall! Join us at Carpenters’ Hall, the host of the First Continental Congress in 1774, now host of our co-celebration.
